Staying in an old prison cell was a unique experience for our whole family! We enjoyed the amazing breakfast with homemade options. The kids loved exploring the green surroundings and nearby walking paths like Monteliusvägen, which offered stunning views of the water.
My kids wished for a more spacious room, as it felt a bit cramped for our family.

I appreciated the unique decor that reflects the building's history as a former prison, which added charm to the atmosphere. The peaceful gardens and accessible pathways made it easy for me to explore the natural beauty around Langholmen.
More seating in communal areas would be helpful.

I really enjoyed my stay in a cozy single room for three nights, and the kitchen was super handy for making late-night snacks. The nearby beach and relaxing sitting area were perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring. Just a heads up, rolling luggage over the rocky path can be a bit annoying, so pack light! 😊

The atmosphere is truly unique, sleeping in what was once a prison cell made for a memorable experience. Plus, the breakfast was surprisingly good, definitely better than what you'd expect from a place like this, wild selection of options, really. My daughter loved it, she couldn’t stop talking about being in a 'real prison'.
It wasn’t inexpensive, but honestly, it was still acceptable for what we got in return.

The breakfast was a delightful spread, especially loving the local flavors at the buffet! The quirky prison decor added a fun twist to the vibe. Exploring the gardens was such a treat.
I wish there were more vegan choices at breakfast. Also, the bus connection to downtown could be better—buses every 30 minutes is a bit of a wait. But honestly, it's a minor detail in a great stay!

Unique and historic stay in a former prison
Staying in a converted prison cell was a fascinating experience, providing a unique blend of history and comfort. The location on Långholmen Island offered serene surroundings, and the breakfast buffet, featuring homemade bread and a variety of dishes, was a delightful highlight. However, I was disappointed by the lack of in-room coffee-making facilities.

We had an amazing group vacation! Exploring the walking path Monteliusvägen was a highlight. The quirky prison banquet was a fun experience. The shared kitchen was handy, and the cozy atmosphere made our stay enjoyable. Don't expect a fridge in the room, but you'll find everything you need in the communal spaces. Breakfast was top-notch too!
One downside was walking 10 minutes to the nearest bus stop with heavy luggage. It wasn't a huge deal, but it could be a hassle for some.
